So, a thousand rounds of "Happy Birthday" and a million gifts later... the birthday weekend has come to a screeching halt.
The party was fun. I don't have any good pictures, as my camera was somehow not used. I think Chris used someone else's camera and thought it was mine. I ended up with only 8 pictures of the birthday party. So, please I beg, anyone, email me your photos....
It was fun. It was hot even though we were having a "cool front." And, it was kid-filled. So, that turned out good. And Ella can not quit talking about it. Today, she took her new purse Maureen made her, filled with dinosaurs and her new baby doll, Barbara ( Ella named her. I am assuming after my Nanny) to school today. And, I left her screaming. Welcome to the terrible 2's. But, the teacher said that once I left Ella and Barbara had a great day!! And when she got home, she decorated our carport with her new sidewalk PAINT! Did not even know they made that!! Now I have a huge sidewalk painted butterfly to park my car on! Fun stuff!
On a not so light note, can I say that CANCER sucks? Please keep my grandma (Mimi) in your prayers. Everyday is a little more of a challenge than the last. And, this is so hard on her. Thanks.
I have a TON of pictures (of course), way too many to email, but I will get you copies!!! Really good ones! I am working on getting them downloaded so you will have to check out my blog soon to see a glimpse! We had a blast at the birthday party, thank you for inviting us! Ella was such a big girl! I am glad that you all enjoyed the sidewalk paint, as soon as I saw it at the store I knew Ella had to have it!
