I was experiencing LITERALLY the longest night of my life... and little did I know tomorrow would be even longer. Why didn't I take the sleeping pill? Why didn't I take the pain meds? Why didn't I listen to my mom?? Oh well, they say hindsight is 20/20. And I definately learned my lesson... not that I will ever have to experience 24 hours of hardcore labor with no dialation again.... ever. But, it was all worth it and tonight, every time I looked at her and the 25 times Chris and I sang "Happy Birthday" followed by her tiny voice saying "Mommy!! Honey!!! Sing it." and we sang it again and again... and again... I rememberd that night. And, that day .... and tomorrow. So much was going on. So much. And my life did change for the better those two days. uhhh so wonderful. I love her.
Anyway, we picked up Jack to take him to the school party. That was fun. Nothing like a few minutes in the car with a 3 year old little boy like Jack to well, open up your eyes and get your day started. The conversation was, well, interesting to say the least. Gross, but interesting. So, when we finally arrived at Ella's school, the fun began! The party consisted of an Elmo theme and 10 2yr. olds, Jack, the teachers, myself, Mustang and Pappy. Fun. Sort of a pre-cursor to the Birthday Weekend Extravaganza. Fun. I will keep you all posted!
I remember it like yesterday too. How much fun it was!! She is a sweetie-pie. I decided today that Brett no longer comes home to see me..I think he comes home now to see HER. It is always one of the first things he says. "Wheres Ella today?" Ha. I am excited about the big party tom. I know it will be fun. Cant wait to see the scrappin that you do with the pics! Love ya.
