We are just about to leave for school/work. We have to stop by MustangSally's to see Lainey then I am off to Curves....

But, I had to put this pic of Ella in her new Gaucho's (holding Dora). Isn't she beautiful?!

Scrappers Delight.

This is my latest journal page. "I am.."

Today has been fun so far. I paid bills (yuck) but that gave me an opportunity to check out my new Transplants CD... which I love.... while crusing all over town. Then I headed over to Snap N Scrap to pick up some supplies so I can create today while I am home....

My work area is a mess, but I am planning to get organized... then tomorrow it's back to work for me. Tomorrow also is the beginning of the Last Scrapper Standing and I must say I am pumped. There are over 500 people signed up, including my best friend, Bonnie. And, I am ready to kick some butt..... :)

This is where I work ... in my living room. Chris has promised to take up the carpet in the office so I can set up a work area in there.... we'll see how that progresses.

Can I just say that I am now flashing back to the 80's because I am highly addicted to using puff-paint on my pages? I love it. It gives some really good texture.

Well, I am off to my fabulous messy life.....

I am feeling better today.... still hurts to swallow. But, I can tell I am getting better. Thank goodness. I am working this morning then shopping this afternoon with my mom and sis. Exciting! We love to do the Target, Old navy, Hobby Lobby thing! Have a great day.

Major Pains

Sometimes I feel like everything is always major with me. I have not felt very good for a couple of weeks. I thought I had strep throat and did a round of antibiotics. However, yesterday I woke up feeling like I had something lodged in my throat. So, this afternoon, after much anticipation, Dr. Austin did a throat scope. Yes, I was awake and it was not fun. But, I found out that I have throat polups. They are huge and he said that I have some of the worst allergies he has seen in thirty something years. Figures. So, these glands at the base of my tounge are so huge that my esophagus sphinker can not fully close, causing acid to get out, thuse causing acid reflux- on top of all these polups.... so, hopefully I wont need surgery. But, I have to not talk alot (yeah right) so they will heal. They are also all in my vocal chords. So, that is what I have done today. I love Dr. Austin to death, but could have stood not having to spend 3 hours of my day off in his office.... the wait there is sooo terrible! Anyway, I will survive, and maybe come out skinny since it hurts like heck to eat..... hmmmm ice cream diet, sounds good. Please keep me in your prayers.... thanks.

We had a great weekend. It was so nice to see my new aunt Melanie! She is so sweet and I just love her. And, her girls, Madison and Courtney are spending the week with us. Look out Snap N Scrap~ Courtney is a scrappie!! She and I will most likely be in to do some damage soon.

Well, I think Ella is putting things in Mustang's toilet, so I must go....

A day in the life...

Ok. So I just accepted the new DARE! And I am so excited to get started. And for those of you that know what "the dares" is- you know this is going to be FUN! If you don't know about the dares, and you are an artist, you should click the link. DUH!

Well, it is 6 am and I have already had an Arizona Tea Energy Shot (w/Splenda!), and treadmilled it. I am about to make Miss Priss some breakfast for when she gets up. I love getting up early to have a few minutes to myself. Fun. Oh, and Jessi and I started Curves, so on the days we don't go, I think I should walk so maybe I can loose some of this baby weight- since Ella's almost 2. Think it's time!

Look, I am getting a lot of hits on my blog everyday. I think I had almost 300 yesterday! So, please comment so I will know who all is looking!!

So, after passing around a stomach virus and strep throat amognst the Croteau clan, here I am again. Ella is peacefully asleep after an hour of fighting and Chris is deep into the x box so I can post. How fun! So, I got a note back from one of my new idols, Nisa Fiin. And, must I say she is so very talented ... you should check her out! I am the president of her fan club. ANYWAY, I also just sent Lindey a comment. I am getting so good at this blogging thing. :)

Things are so busy down at the Head to Toe. And, the people that I work with, who deem me as superwoman scheduled like 11 or 12 heads of hair for me to do today. So, that made for a long day and some aching feet. Especially since my sidekick is out at Felders Campmeeting chummin' it up with "stace"....

I have discovered Sabrina Ward Harrison lately. And, since that is my maiden name (Ward) I am so wondering if she is the aunt/sister/cousin that I need to meet. She is great. You should check out her art journals. I really think a Ward reunion is in order... :)

I am going to (I promise) post some new pics. tomorrow. I have finished some really good new layouts. And, I am just full of ideas. So full in fact, that I can not sleep! And that is sooo not Holly! Plus I have to put up the pics of my new "studio".... which is soo messy right now. (also sooo not holly these days) Hope everyone has a great night and a happy tomorrow. Peace. (literally)

12. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you? There are lots of them. I try not to get too embarrassed b/c everyone has their moments. One funny embarassing thing was when I fell while shopping with Bonnie (my best friend) and we were like a mile from our car and I ripped my toenail off. And, Bonnie faints at the sight of blood. And, we had nothing but some tissue paper out of a box of new shoes she just bought to bandage my foot until I could get back to the car and gain composure... guess you had to be there :)

13. What is the happiest day of your life thus far?
My life is filled with happy days. Being born, giving birth to a lovely little lady, meeting my husband in the Beastie Boys Chat Room (9 years ago~ hows about that?!), Marriage, etc...

14. Are you a neat freak? Or a dirty house cleaner? I am really really messy. But, lately I have gotten into organizing things alot.

Loving It!

 Bonnie and I are so loving our new crop room! We finally got it organized today. I will take some pics of it tomorrow and post them. When we finished our mad organizing, I was able to complete 3 layouts! I loved this one I did of Ella's feet. Isn't it cute? Check out my "layouts" link to see the rest. I have a sore throat and feel like crap, so I am going to get a bath and hit the sack. Let me know what you think!

New Art Room!

Today, thanks to Bonnie~ we are getting a crop room @ the Head to Toe! It is turning out really really nice! And, I am so excited b/c not only can I work on layouts, I can bring all my art supplies and even work on some much anticipated oil paintings in my spare time. I am so excited!!!

I am working today we have a full day @ the salon! So, I can't wait for the weekend. I will put up some pics of our new room tomorrow!

firsts

O.K. so I could just kick myself for not listening to Lindey two years ago when she told me that I would love doing this! Scrapbooking rocks! Anyway, I finished my FIRST full page today! I am doing a book for Ella entitled "First" it will include as many of her "firsts" that I can capture in her lifetime! This is so much fun. Also~ today was so great! Ella said "I love you" for the first time! I usually say "I love you Ella." and that is followed by a hug and an "I love me, mommy!" That is why this is so exciting .... So, that is what I did this page on for the "first" book. I started as soon as she said it, because I wanted to capture how I was feeling at that very moment and not let it go. It has been great. So, six hours later- here it is! And, I actually like it.... which is unusual for me. Anyway, I guess I should go to sleep now~ hope everyone has a great holiday!
